Have you ever wondered just what the rules of cricket are? You'll be suprised to know that although there are indeed many laws and rules in the game of cricket, the game is chiefly played not only within the laws but also within the spirit of the game. It's this spirit that gives cricket a unique feel of sportsmanship over and above that which comes with playing any old team sport.

The Düsseldorf Blackcaps compete in the local state league competition, and hold the spirit of cricket and the manner in which it should be played very highly. This carries through into our friendly matches where the spirit of the game could not be more present. Everyone gets a chance to perform to the best of their abilities and have fun doing so! It's always great to spend a day in the field playing the sport we love and sharing the experience with teams from all over Europe!
